The 18th international symposium on Knowledge and Systems Sciences (KSS2017) is the annual meeting by the International Society for Knowledge and Systems Sciences (http://www.iskss.org/). KSS2017 aims to promote the exchange and interaction of knowledge across disciplines and borders to explore the new territories and new frontiers. With over 17-year continuous endeavors, attempts to strictly define the knowledge science still go on with very tolerant, broad-based and open-minded approaches. Knowledge science and systems science can be used for one another as methodology and tool and benefit each other.

Selected papers will be selected into special issues by Journal of Systems Science and Systems Engineering (Springer, SCI indexed) and Journal of Systems Science and Information.

The KSS2017 proceedings will be published as a volume of Communications in Computer and Information Science (CCIS) series by Springer.
